The Technique

An industrial workspace is hot because of the heat radiated from the roof and walls and is hotter if there is heat generated from the work process.

If sufficient amount of outside air is cooled and sent in and at the same time exhausted out by the natural way (open doors and windows) or by a mechanical means (exhaust fan), the workspace is bound to be cool. All the heat in the workspace is carried along with the air exhausting out.

This is why evaporative cooling system will perform well especially with an exhaust system.

How it works
Cool air is continuously produced and sent in
Hot & contaminated air is continuously pushed or exhausted out
  Continuous Air Change is maintained
Evaporative Cooling Systems depends on this principle for operation.

Air Change

Air change is the amount of air required to completely replace the air in a defined space within the factory. The approach to Open Space Cooling or evaporative cooling system is two prong. First is to reduce the temperature of the supply air and second create an air change within.
The rate of air change depends on the type of production process.
